I use porcelain clay, so the letters pop. I freestyle the hand lettering, so they are time/labor intensive and can take 4-5 weeks from start to finish.

I often can do other types of personalization (at an additional cost)- if you have something more specific in mind, let me know! In the photos, you can see a few customization possibilities.

A peek into my process:

I throw the bowls on my potter's wheel, let them dry for 1-2 days, trim them, then let them dry completely for 3-5 days (depending on the size). Then I design the lettering in pencil to make it just right, followed by the actual brushwork with black underglaze.

This size is approximately 8" across and 2.5" deep and holds about 3 cups of dry food.

As these are entirely handmade pieces, minor variations may occur.
