An original oil painting of a charismatic White Leghorn chicken in Matakana, New Zealand painted boldly and texturally in pinks and whites.
Painting is available framed (30 x 26 inches [762mm x 660mm]) or unframed (24 x 20 inches [610mm x 508mm]) on gessoed muslin on board. This painting is currently mounted in a white frame (as seen in the pictures) but can be moved into a light gray or charcoal colored frame if preferred. Hanging hardware to easily hang the painting on your wall is already installed on the back of the frame.
This painting is sized to fit easily into a standard frame if you would rather frame the painting yourself, or simply display it unframed.
Paintings are packaged carefully to ensure safe delivery.

I like the lines of the building and the different textures of materials, the contrast of the solidity of the architecture with the fluidity of the bird in flight, and that those windows spark the question of what's on the other side of the glass. So much in a small painting.
