The ring is vintage from approximately 1984. The ring is NOT Cartier, but the box is original and from the same era with a few marks.
The gold is 9crt white gold. The diamonds are natural and bright. 0.16cts in total.
It would make a fine engagement ring or anniversary ring.
Diamond Eternity rings are also given on the birth of a child to the mother.

you mentioned that the ring was steel the ring is clearly hallmarked 9k meaning 9carat gold and the diamonds are natural and real I am sorry you are not happy with what is a very beautiful ring
